PBS SERIES on Dolley Madison ON-LINE

Illinois regional coordinator, Natalie Goldberg wrote to say that she has been enjoying the PBS series Dolley Madison online.
The acting is wonderful. Most enjoyable for Janeites, of course, is the context. There is even a chapter on costuming, with an analysis of the fashion changes, focusing on her lifetime of clothing, how the clothing was designed, the fabrics selected, the sketches she referred to, and the way the dresses were fitted and the room designs to fit the fashions.
