Different Park (not Mansfield)! Different Time (starting at 1pm EDT, because our honored guest is in a different time zone)!

But same great discussions as we always have!
We are excited to announce that on April 15th, we will meet over Zoom at 1pm to discuss the novel Godmersham Park by Gill Hornby. The discussion will last approximately 1 hour and will be followed by a live Q&A session with the author, Gill Hornby. You can RSVP for the meeting here.
The novel is a fictionalized version of Jane Austen’s relationship with Anne Sharp, a governess to Jane’s brother Henry’s children.

According to Amazon:
The governess role is a uniquely awkward one. Anne is neither one of the servants, nor one of the family, and to balance a position between the “upstairs” and “downstairs” members of the household is a diplomatic chess game. One wrong move may result in instant dismissal. Anne knows that she must never let down her guard.
Will she or won’t she? Let’s find out! After an hour’s discussion we will be joined by the author herself, Gill Hornby, #1 International bestselling-author of Miss Austen, to discuss her work! We hope you will join us!
