I found a copy of The Yuppie Handbook by Marissa Piesman and Marilee Hartles

Inside they list the Yuppie Bestsellers:Books Movies, Records and under Fiction we read this:

5. Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen (every Yuppie knows that Elizabeth Bennett would have gone to law school had she lived today)
