Jane Austen Society of North America – Vancouver Region is having their meeting on St. Patrick’s Day and they are talking about Jane’s Irish Connection. Their meeting announcement has this great picture.

Thomas Langlois Lefroy – (8 January 1776 – 4 May 1869) An Irish politician and judge, famous for his involvement with a certain Miss Jane Austen. How she ever let him get away, I’ll never know.
