Here a few upcoming Jane Austen themed programs around the state:
Saturday, March 16 at 2 pm
We’ll be hosting our March meeting at the Twin Rivers Branch of the Mercer County Library System.
Mark Turner will be presenting Pray Tell Me: Regency Charades.
These charades were rhyming riddles as opposed to the kind we play today. So come out and join us while we enjoy these authentic Regency charades – the rhyming riddles that caused such upheaval in Jane Austen’s “Emma”.
For samples you can visit Mark’s blog.
Monday, March 18 at 7 pm
