Yesterday the New York Metro Region of JASNA sent out an email with some more ideas of how to spend your summer vacation! (sorry if you got the email already)
1. JASNA Greater Louisville Region is hosting its seventh annual Jane Austen Festival, July 19 and 20th. It’s an immersive weekend; for more information go here. The Region’s webse is here.
(Note, Louisville Region will host the 2015 AGM.)
2. A 4 day conference combining talks and films will be held at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from June 12 to 15th. Their Jane Austen Summer Program concentrates on a different novel each summer. This year it’s Sense and Sensibility. For more information click here.
3. There are a number of Jane Austen themed events this summer at the Governor’s House in Hyde Park, Vermont. Here is the website.
