We had a wonderful time at the program at the Cherry Hill Library yesterday. Judith Krall-Russo presented “Food, Fashion, and Tea from Jane Austen to Queen Victoria”
There was a lovely display of tea pots and other tea accompaniments. She had photos of typical fashions from the two time periods both men and women’s fashions. You can see closeups of the table display in our album on Facebook.

In the Regency most people ate the same food, the difference was the upper classes had more food. By the Victorian times more food is being imported and people are eating differently based on social classes.— Central NJ JASNA (@JASNA_CNJ) April 15, 2018
