Join JASNA-NJ for a discussion with author Jane K. Cleland on her upcoming book Jane Austen’s Lost Letters

Jane K. Cleland writes both fiction and nonfiction, including the multiple award-winning Josie Prescott Antiques Mysteries [St. Martin’s & Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine]. Jane Austen’s Lost Letters, the 14th in her series, will be published in December 2021.

JANE AUSTEN’S LOST LETTERS

Jane K. Cleland does meticulous research in every novel, and what she found when she researched JANE AUSTEN’S LOST LETTERS was startling. Jane will discuss:

• How Jane Austen was a prolific letter-writer; the number of letters Jane Austen actually wrote, vs. the small fraction that are known to exist
• What became of the multitude of Jane Austen’s letters that are missing
• Why it is conceivable that more of Jane Austen’s letters could be found
• Her personal connection to Jane Austen
• Attendees will have an opportunity to order signed copies of Jane Austen’s Lost Letters and JASNA-NJ has procured copies as giveaways for a few lucky attendees.
