Join JASNA-NJ for our last Zoom discussion of 2022! On November 19th we will discuss Amy Elizabeth Smith’s 2012 travel memoir All Roads Lead to Austen. A description of the book can be found here.

Partially inspired by Reading Lolita in Tehran, Smith took a sabbatical from her job as a literature and writing professor to organize reading groups of Austen’s Emma, Sense and Sensibility, and Pride and Prejudice in six different Latin American countries. The book recounts both her adventures abroad as well as the experiences of the different participants.
You can register for the meeting here.
The discussion will take place first “among ourselves” and be followed by Q&A by the author herself when she joins us. We look forward to seeing you all!
